Description: ADELAIDE STEFANAK is a large flowered bold red self with a chartreuse green throat. Heavy substance. Mid-late bloom season.  Semi-evergreen tetraploid with blooms extended into evening.  Clumps up rapidly to provide a mass of summer red blooms.  Makes a stunning center piece to a perennial garden setting.  Later blooming daylilies are in demand to carry the season of blooming daylilies into August and beyond in upstate NY. Daylily named by the highest bidder at the annual Region 4 meeting plant auction held in 2005 in Geneva, NY.
