 H. 'Chimney Sweep' 30" Mid-season bloom with very dark black-red 4.5" flower. Notice the small red band above the tiny green throat. Chimney Sweep is the darkest black red daylily we have seen in our many garden visits. It's parentage is H. 'Warrior's Brother' x H. 'Hawaiian Nights'. Semi-evergreen tetraploid.
For the tetraploid hybridizer wanting to add black-red genes to his or her
lines, Chimney Sweep should be included in the breeding arsenal.
